Easy Block Guard (the “App”) provides store access control and block rules for Shopify merchants. We respect your privacy and only collect information necessary to operate and improve the App. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and how you can contact us.

Information We Collect

• Shop Data: your shop domain and OAuth session details (access token, granted scopes, session metadata) needed to authenticate the App with Shopify.
• App Settings: configuration you set in the App (e.g., blocked countries, languages, timezones, redirect URLs, access code). These settings are stored per shop.
• Operational Logs: minimal technical logs to troubleshoot service issues (e.g., webhook receipts, error messages). Logs do not contain customer personal data.

We do not store customer personal information beyond Shopify IDs received in webhook payloads. We do not sell personal information.

How We Use Information

• Authenticate your shop and enable App functionality.
• Persist your App configuration and apply access rules on your storefront.
• Maintain security, prevent fraud, and fix bugs.
• Comply with legal obligations (e.g., GDPR deletion requests).

Data Location and Subprocessors

The App is hosted on cloud infrastructure. Typical subprocessors may include Vercel (hosting) and a managed PostgreSQL database provider (for example, a cloud Postgres service). These providers process data on our behalf solely to deliver the App. All data in transit is encrypted via TLS.

Retention and Deletion

• Uninstall: when you uninstall the App, we delete the shop’s session records and configuration associated with your shop.
• GDPR Webhooks: we acknowledge and act on Shopify’s mandatory webhooks: customers/data_request, customers/redact, andshop/redact. If applicable, we remove or redact related records.
• Manual Requests: you can request deletion or a copy of your data by contacting us at botwang7@gmail.com.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us using the email below. We may need to verify your identity and ownership of the shop.
